  • Please no parents in the transition area after the Tri has started, our wonderful volunteers will help them find equipment & show them where to go.
  • EXCEPTION: Each 5-7 yr old packet will include an additional wristband. This can be worn by ONE parent/guardian and will grant that person access to the transition areas.  Parents may want to assist with tying shoes, mount/dismount bike, putting on/taking off helmets, drying feet and putting on clothes after the swim, etc. (If you have a child with special needs in another age group whom you feel would desire assistance, please contact us before the event)
  • The Swim/Bike transition area will be grouped by heat and by age.  Towels, shoes, socks, clothes and riding gear will be arranged behind the bikes on the grass.
  • Walk your bike to the exit when leaving transition area.  Volunteers will check for tight laces and secure helmets.
  • When entering Bike/Run transition area, dismount bike at the entrance and push your bike to a volunteer.  They will take your bike, helmet and any other gear for you.
  • Volunteers will line bikes up for pick-up after the event.  Please bring your race number so we can match it to your bike!
